New Sneakers

Today was a generally good day. Work was busy and went by fairly quickly. I have been very unhealthy lately. After the cleanse I was doing so well eating a lot of fruits and veggies, nothing fried or sauced or overly processed but this week has been frought with fried, processed foods and very little raw foods. This may be a good weekend to get back to healthy since I do not have to work on saturday and will be sleeping all day sunday.

Tomorrow I will not be blogging at all. I work in the morning and am helping a friend with a sleep over for her soon to be 11 year old daughter. The same one I mentioned in my last post. I know I am glutten for punishment but I felt bad that she would be wrangling 8 girls and her 3 boys by herself. One thing is for certain though. I will forever be determined to never have children after this weekend if there were ever doubts before.

This afternoon I went to Vestal and bought a new pair of walking sneakers. I desperately needed them and I don't feel bad for buying them but I think they are the most expensive pair of sneakers I have ever owned in my entire life. They are Avia brand and they are the kind with the curved souls that are supposed to help all sorts of things including posture, gate and speed up the toning process. I don't know if any of that is true but I know they were very comfortable and seemed to have excellent arch support which I greatly appreciate. Although I did not get back before dark to go for a walk I think I may have time to go for a long walk before I keep my promise to be surrounded by children.

  1. I share your view of children, as you probably already know.
I am very interested in what you think about the sneakers. Seriously text me and let me know. I am in the market for some walking shoes. I have put on FORTY FIVE FRIGGING POUNDS since you last saw me and goddamnit, I need to start walking.
